About me
I'm
Suzanne Smaling, born on December 6th 1986 and currently live in the
Netherlands.
My brothers and I
are raised with rock and metal music like: Metallica, Guns 'n Roses,
Queen, Kiss, Meat Loaf,
Vandenberg etc.
As I grow older I developed my taste of music but until this day
Metallica is my number one band. Here's

Photographing is one of my biggest hobbies and I love to combine
photographing with visiting concerts.
For concert photographing I use a
Nikon D60 with a AF-S NIKKOR
15-105mm 1:3.5-5.6G ED. For bigger concerts, fun
photos and short videos I use a
Casio Exilim EX-H10.
I founded Rockpics.nl in 2003, I made some photos during concerts and
stuff and people started to ask me where
they could see the photos. In the last years I tried to profesionalize
Rockpics.nl for a bit, with making business cards
and a website with loads of photos, also in the background of the web
pages.
With Rockpics.nl I try to promote bands. One thing is very important to
know, Rockpics.nl is a hobby and I only visit
concerts from bands that I like or that I think that is worth to see and
promote them.
For 2 German bands I've made a
Hyves (Hyves is a community like Facebook or MySpace, but
then Dutch), feel free
to join us and help to promote these great bands!
My other passion are tigers. Ever
since I was a little kid I really love tigers. Founded here in the
Netherlands is
STICHTING PANTERA. Pantera
is the only European shelter for big cats. At Pantera I had the
change to follow a
workshop, training tigers. For me this was dream come true. That day I
worked with tigers, lions and panthers. After my
workshop I decided to adopt tiger Chazia.
